Dean's Ski & Ride
Browse the videos below of various resorts, skills, and terrain:
Your very first-time? Can't get that edge to bite or master those bump runs? With over thirty years teaching & guiding in Colorado's central mountains I can help! No maps or apps, bad terrain-guesses, or "getting over your skis" when with me :-) Testimonials
Officially, outside instructors can't sell "lessons", but thousands of snowriders teach their friends every day, at every resort... So, you're paying for a day of action-video, and should you want some pointers - hey - we're friends!
first timer; from Magic carpet to linking turns in only two days!
Cadence (not Candice!) struggled at first but when the lightbulb came on it was bright, check out this video! By the end of day two she had ten linked turns, (toe-heel, and back, heel-toe). Ten-ish seems about the threshold to the (very) counter-intuitive, and entirely neccessary, linked turns.

Vail, ski & ride birthday party
12 people, Kurt's birthday party group, he turned 39 "for the third time...".
"Wow, Dean was versatile, the video, his ski abilities, giving us both skiing and snowboard tips all day, and all the while shooting video, riding backwards and all. We love the editing and music! Next season, we will hire him again for sure, and maybe get him on his snowboard next time! A GREAT value for all he did!"

Carving rails, ski in my tracks...
Vincent's third day and he was already carving and staying in my tracks perfectly; a great student and skier! The effect of me skiing backwards and shooting the skier silhouetted before the sun has become my "signiture shot" of sorts:

L1 snowboarding, Nice Heel to Toe Solution at Copper Mountain
My buddy's fiancee Rachel could not make a toe-side turn (transition from heel edge) and we fixed it.

Beaver Creek Powder Day, L6 Ski
Powder takes a little know-how, but if you have the basics you'll be skiing glades* in no time; this was Rose and Finn's first time tree skiing...
*glades are widely spaced trees; fresh snow accumulates better and for longer 'in the trees'.

Beaver Creek beginner ski kids, bunny slopes to red buffalo to rose bowl over two warm spring days
The learning area at BC is at the top of a gondola, so the views are wonderful! Micah and Jackson were troupers, quick to learn, and funny! Both hamming it up for the camera.

Loveland Pass - Late Day Tracks
Heading home from an A-Basin lesson on a Bluebird Day (blue skies, below freezing, and big overnight powder snow) it was late enough that I was free to fly close to the surface, tracks, and ridges without fear of buggin' or injuring snowriders.
Views of the Continental Divide, Loveland Ski Area, Arapahoe Basin and Keystone Ski Areas, The Ten Mile Range, and far off in the distance, Breckenridge.
This drone is so quiet the back-country skier on the ridge doesn't even look up.
