Xtreme 4x4, canyonlands / Moab/ Arches NP, Utah

Strap in like a fighter pilot, literally, with a five-point padded harness, to a very modified Suburban ... front wheel low, front wheel high, rear wheel low and high, 4x4 3x low, lock or unlock differntials... you get the idea, these guys know 4x4s and the most gnarly trails: Hell's Revenge, Poison Spider, and even parts of world (in)famous The Slickrock Trail.

Town of Crested Butte, chamber of commerce / October 2024 perfect peak colors .. several local business bought photos from these flights, great day!

Apparently there was no wind the week prior; seemingly no leaves had blown away, the light was amazing and surely it was peak colors. Here's a 360 view over a 35 minute 4 mile flight condensed to 2 minutes. Views of the valley and surrounding peaks, most of them 14,000+ feet elevation or 2.7 miles above sea level.

Winter park / mary jane resort, Colorado

Winter Park is the family friendly side of the resort, the Mary Jane side is the Mecca of bump skiing; you can probably tell which is which:

Mt. Rushmore, Black Hills, South Dakota

Flying from well over a mile of the vistior center entrace, over dense national forest from a peak up the highway; the zooms on the DJI Mavic Pro 4 are something to behold!

Zion NP, Virgin River, Southwest Utah

In deep southwest Utah lies Zion and Bryce National Parks, this was shot outside Zion, flying over the descent into the NP (and zooming far beyond), and never over any people.

Gothic, Colorado

Amazing fall colors, the purples and reds are highly unique to any aspen stand anywhere, only particular weather conditions set this up: a very wet summer and dry fall, and little to no wind as the leaves are more brittle at these colors.

Moab Side X Side, Utah

Hard core guides, coaches, and repair shop, these guys are the mechanics the other 4x4 guides bring their UTVs, ATVs, and 4x4s of all kinds, in the Mecca of off-roading, Moab, Utah.

Mavic 3 Pro, Drone test: fly over river, over slickrock,over highway, and bikers but stay steady and focus up to 35 mph, a rough cut no doubt. Big praise to DJI on this Hasselblad camera with telephoto and up to 5K, 100fps.

Heading home after a powder day at Arapahoe Basin I had a hunch there would be some pretty tracks from the day's backcountry snowriders, and maybe a straggler or two for some action video...

...and just north of Rico, Colorado, in the stunning San Juan Mountain Range. The towns of: Ouray, Silverton, Durango, Ridgway, Rico and of course Telluride; no doubt the best paved fall-colors drive in the in the American west (the best unpaved is Last Dollar Road, also nearby)

Directly across the valley from world renowned Red Rocks Amphitheater, Denver's "The Hogback" expert only trail has stumps, boulders, rock faces, fatal cliffs, and a ton of fun; bring big shocks!

A very lucky spring morning; I was initially heading for a trail run when I was suddenly (and fortunately) diverted by a fading fog that was, like God's theater curtain, slowly revealing the 9000 seat theater and the surrounding "flatirons", the geo-wonders of Colorado's front range. Surely one of most picturesque places I've been, and hands down the best place to experience live music in the world, ask anyone who's been (or played) there! And please, come see for yourself, and I'll get some shots of you there :-)

After a monster snowstorm some intrepid rule-breakers skied the bleachers from top to bottom; you can see Ranger Rick patrolling for them in the white truck about midway through the video...
